How it all started...
At the age of 10 the biggest wish of my daughter Sonja was a British Shorthair cat. Subsequently we wanted to fulfil her wish. Unfortunateley it turned out that this wouldn't be quiet easily. After having looked at many British Shorthair cats we learned that big differences could be seen. We often thought this cat could have easily been mistaken for a regular house cat.Shortly before I had given up hope we saw an add at a local pet store, which offered British Shorthair kittens.
Well, we had nothing to lose so we just drove there. The moment we stept over the threshold lightning struck. It was love at first sight.
Bye the time our Meggie got into heat we decided to have a litter.
After this experience exceeded our expectations we were a 100% convinced that we wanted to start breeding.
In search of the right British Shorthair cat with a pedigree it took us awhile to find the ideal start of our breeding program!
Now we are a member of the German cat club Felidae e.V. & all our cats are negatively tested on FIV, leucosis and PKD, as well as negatively screened on HCM.
For us it is important not to make a big cattery out of it. Every single cat is showered with love and care. Therefore it should stay a hobby, which is based on love, responsibility & fun.
